Penyegaran Teologis Dasar Misi dari Kebangkitan Kristus menurut Matius 28:16-20 pada Acara Paskah IKA STTII Semarang Raya

Abstract

This Community Service activity aimed to provide theological refreshment on the foundation of mission from the resurrection of Christ according to Matthew 28:16-20 for the members of IKA Semarang Raya. The implementation method used a one-way expository lecture approach delivered during the Easter event on May 1, 2026, with 95 participants consisting of both graduates and families of STTII Yogyakarta from seven regions in Greater Semarang. The material covered three main aspects: the resurrection of Christ as the message of mission (vv. 19a), power for mission (vv. 18b), and divine presence in mission (vv. 20b). The evaluation of the activity was conducted through interviews with five randomly selected respondents. The results showed that all respondents experienced a refreshment in theological understanding, a burning heart to continue doing mission, an awareness that the fire of evangelism must be maintained even after graduating from theological education, as well as an understanding that the risen Christ accompanies the mission journey in achieving the 1:1:1 vision. The impact of this activity was the strengthening of the missionary commitment of IKA Semarang Raya members to continue preaching the gospel and carrying out the vision of one village, one congregation, in one generation. This activity recommends the need for ongoing mentoring programs for theological school alumni as well as the utilization of digital technology to expand the reach of mission.
