Author Fee

Several policies concerning author fees are discussed in the following section;

  1. Journal of Theological Students does not charge any fees during the submission stage or throughout the desk review process.
  2. After the article is declared eligible for publication based on the peer review results and the final approval of the Editor-in-Chief, the author will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) along with information regarding the Article Processing Charge (APC).
  3. The APC payment is made after the article is accepted for publication (after acceptance), and the funds are used to support publication services such as:
    • DOI registration
    • Language editing and layout formatting (copyediting & typesetting)
    • OJS hosting and maintenance
    • Indexing in national and international databases
  4. Payment does not influence the editorial decision. All manuscripts are evaluated based on scientific quality, novelty of ideas, and methodological appropriateness through an independent double-blind peer review system.
  5. A waiver policy is available for authors from small institutions, students, or international authors with financial constraints, by submitting a formal request to the editorial board.
