PEMETAAN PERAN GURU SEBAGAI AGEN PERUBAHAN DALAM PEMBIMBINGAN SPIRITUAL ANAK

Abstract

Terdapat dugaan bahwa guru kurang berperan secara memadai dalam mengembangkan perkembangan rohani siswa. Diduga karena siswa kurang memahami makna pembinaan rohani, maka siswa kurang mengikuti pembinaan rohani yang dilaksanakan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya peran guru dalam mengembangkan rohani siswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peran guru dalam pembinaan rohani siswa di SD Kristen Elim Malang Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa peran guru dalam pembinaan rohani di SD Kristen Elim Malang Jawa Timur berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu dengan skor 89%. Namun berdasarkan temuan di lapangan, peneliti melihat beberapa hal yang kurang dilakukan guru yaitu: guru kurang memberikan dorongan kepada siswa dan guru kurang memberikan apresiasi kepada siswa.

Abstrak

There are allegations that teachers do not play a sufficient role in developing students' spiritual development. It is suspected that because students do not understand the meaning of spiritual formation, students do not participate in the spiritual formation carried out at school. This research aims to determine the importance of the role of teachers in developing students' spirituality. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out how big the role of teachers is in the spiritual development of students at Elim Christian Elementary School, Malang, East Java. This research uses quantitative methods with qualitative literatur research type. The results found that the role of teachers in spiritual formation at Elim Christian Elementary School, Malang, East Java is in the very good category, namely with a score of 89%. However, based on findings in the field, researchers saw several things that teachers did not do enough, namely: teachers did not encourage students enough and teachers did not give enough appreciation to students.
