This article examines the presence of artificial intelligence (AI) in church music as a theological, ethical, pedagogical, and spiritual issue. The development of AI has influenced how churches prepare worship materials, write lyrics, develop musical arrangements, produce digital content, and train music ministers. However, the use of AI in worship music cannot be understood merely as a technical innovation, since church music is a theological and communal practice that shapes faith, spiritual affections, congregational participation, and spiritual maturity. This study employs a qualitative approach through library research and conceptual-theological analysis. The conceptual data are analyzed descriptively, critically-normatively, and constructively-transformatively by integrating worship theology, church music, digital ethics, learning management, and spiritual formation. The findings show that AI may be used in worship music when it is positioned as a creative assistant subject to the theological purposes of worship, rather than as a substitute for human agency in worship. This article proposes a theological-ethical discernment-based learning management model for worship music through five stages: planning, curation, implementation, evaluation, and spiritual reflection. The contribution of this article lies in its integrative framework for assessing the use of AI critically, ethically, pastorally, and formatively within contemporary church life and digital worship practices today.
