Peran Gereja dalam Pembinaan Warga Gereja yang Mengalami Gangguan Mental

Mental disorders are not things that can be considered a small problem, but the problems of mental disorders are very complex. In addition to the problem of expensive treatment, shame and fear, there is also the uncertainty of the end of this disease which becomes an intense burden for sufferers and even families with mental disorders. The causes of mental disorders vary depending on the types of mental disorders you are experiencing, generally mental disorders are caused by psychological pressure that arises due to pressure from outside the individual (sufferer) and pressure from within the individual (sufferer). Some of the things that cause it is the ignorance of families and communities about this type of mental disorder, and there are several views about this mental disorder. Through the understanding of the importance of pastoral care above, the church needs to carry out this role very well, in recognizing the variety of mental disorders and special assistance for sufferers as well as for families with mental disorders. The approach taken is a qualitative approach involving literature studies and field studies limited to the Covid-19 pandemic.
