About the Journal
Shift Key: Jurnal Teologi dan Pengembangan Pelayanan (E-ISSN: 2774-4469 | P-ISSN: 2089-3035) has been submitted to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and is currently under review. Shift Key is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Kristus Alfa Omega. This journal serves as an academic platform for the advancement of theological studies and ministry development. Shift Key publishes original research articles, field study findings, and critical analyses in various areas such as biblical studies, systematic theology, pastoral ministry, Christian education, worship and music, leadership, and church growth. The journal aims to foster scholarly dialogue that bridges theology and practical ministry, promoting research that contributes to both academic excellence and ministerial relevance. Shift Key exists to integrate faith, research, and ministry-providing a forum for theological reflection that shapes effective and transformative ministry in the modern world. The journal welcomes contributions from both internal scholars of STT Kristus Alfa Omega and external researchers, maintaining a publication ratio of 30% internal authors and 70% external authors.
Shift Key: Jurnal Teologi dan Pengembangan Pelayanan is published twice a year, in June and December, and applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity and scholarly quality of its published articles. The journal is nationally accredited at SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026. This accreditation is valid from Volume 15, No. 1 (2025) through Volume 19 (2029). As an open-access journal, Shift Key is committed to disseminating scholarly research, theological insights, and empirical findings that contribute to the development of theology and Christian ministry and equip Christian leaders, educators, and ministers to respond thoughtfully and effectively to contemporary challenges in the church and society.

Shift Key: Jurnal Teologi dan Pengembangan Pelayanan (E-ISSN: 2774-4469 P-ISSN: 2089-3035) is a Faculty Journal, Volume 16, Number 1, 2026, which features seven selected articles from lecturers and postgraduate students of several Christian theological institutions in Indonesia. The selection of these scholarly works was carried out with the aim of publishing high-quality academic writings and broadening the readers' perspectives. In future editions, it is expected that SHIFT KEY will publish more research findings and scholarly articles in the fields of theology, church ministry, Christian education, and church music, in accordance with the journal's scope. SHIFT KEY publishes academic articles primarily based on the research of lecturers.
