Abstract

Church music education in the millennial era is an important element in buiding congregational growth. But generally the church uses music only as a complementary element in worship. This study aims to explain (1) the pattern of adaptation applied by the church to the millennial current, and (2) the education or discipleship system applied at GBT Kristus Alfa Omega, Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach, through a phenomenological research design. In the study, it was explained that GBT KAO developed educational revitalization in both formally and non-formally. This revitalization is realized by organizing formal and non-formal music education. Conceptually, there is a pattern of adaptation in empowering and reviving music education for today’s generation.
